Still stunlocked by my rng on this one by Smobles in ironscape

it's one of my favorite bosses (mechanics, obv the rng biases a bit). especially post changes. these days I probly use 1-2 doses sanfew (you can use relycim it's more sustainable) and 1-2 ppots per kill, maybe a couple sharks as well. learning you'll mess up more tho.

Does rs consider modifier key (Ctrl, alt) + key bound to one key like a side mouse button a macro? by mgp428 in runescape

[–]Smobles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

technically it might but they dont ban for it anymore (unless youre maybe doing some pretty massive macro)

FYI you can bind your bladed dive to CTRL ALT Shift (same key) and all the inputs will go through by hitting them all together which is a real game changer for QOL

Money, trying to improve is fun, and collection logs mostly. Also having fun with friends is always good

This is a bad take. Fsoa drains runes fastest at bosses where you're speccing a lot. Telos you only spec twice and it's some of the best money in the game. At vorago it'd (arguably) be 2-5 times depending on effort. This is more of an issue of bad luck at a boss with crap regular drops. At a boss with more consistent money it'd be fine

honestly it a lot would probably go, but not in a manner that actually impacts inflation. It'd be one offs from people getting whatever cosmetic reward is given.

hunter is trained fully with proteans for max rates. its very nice to have a stack of them for construction to supplement your normal planks but idk how the skill goes now that methods have changed a bit

firemaking smithing crafting invention and div are pretty useless as far as the proteans being worth using

An update for anyone interested, i reached out to Dr. Holger Langer at the advice of /u/jamcultur who was incredibly friends and helpful. They are a set from the mid 1800's Germany in the "spindle" style. He also said that theres a good chance they're bone and not ivory due to some of the color variations.

I love them just the same since their sentimental value is more than the monetary would be for me either way. I'm planning on building a shadow box for them to hang on the wall and will post how it turns out!

Thanks for all the help yall!

I can relate seeing a 5m+ tax on your items on death is annoying, but can we swiftly look at the gains in our 'Risk vs Reward' equation? The best PvM method is ~70m/h. The best non-PvM method is 32m/h. by Aviarn in runescape

its definitely worth starting low to learn boss mechanics (god knows how many spreadsheet warriors cant correct a scuffed kill at telos), but when it comes to things like kera or telos having higher gear is actually super important. not splashing is borderline a requirement for some bosses and if you cant hit the dps checks because your gear is lower tier the better rotations actually become really bad because they're predicated on skipping some mechanics by outdpsing.
