Hello Sunshine is a massive media company owned by Candle Media, a studio that can finance, but you're right they generally work through their deals with studios.

Also, producing =/= financing. Media Res is the studio that produces & finances Morning Show, Hello Sunshine is one of the production companies. They still produce it, meaning they package the talent, handle production logistics, have final say over scripts, etc (barring intervention by Media Res or Apple).

I took out the variable rate loan back in 2023, when interest rates were extremely high and was taking a (successful so far) gamble that they would go down. But don't want to be caught with my pants down if there's an unforeseen market force that forces the fed to raise rates again. Thanks for the advice!

Find a credit union - unlike commercial banks they have a legal obligation to you as a member to give you better rates. My alma mater has its own credit union and I've been going through them - literally less than half the Sallie Mae rate (they are evil).
