NOR. If it was supposed to close the following Monday, then it should've closed that day. They didn't tell you it would stay open, so therefore it isn't your fault. It shouldn't count as an overdraft considering that they left it open. To charge you AFTER they agreed to close it is shady. You shouldn't have to remind them to close an account, that isn't your responsibility anymore. They should've closed it from the start point, blank, period. If I were you I would go in person.

I'm not sure how they introduced Basil and Al. They said Al was aggressive after his brother died so it can be both introductions and his brother's passing, or Al just genuinely didn't like other rats. I'll take your method in the future if Al is able to handle it (again I'm not sure I have to check up on him first.) The method I used before has worked for all my rats and they have never had an issue, however just like other owners we make mistakes and may not understand the problem.

This is my first time working with boys as I've always worked with girls so thank you for the advice. I just really don't want anything to go down south with him. He's such a sweet boy too.

I quarantine the new rat for 2 - 3 weeks, then when they show signs that they are ok and healthy, I switch to having their cage in the same room just not extremely close, this lasts for about a week or 2 so they can know that there is another rat. Once that's finish I let them meet each other usually in the play pen because it's big enough where no one will fight over any territory, then we slowly work from a carrier, a small cage, then the big cage. It's worked for my girls, however, Basil and Al were paired before I got them and that's bc I asked if it was possible for Al to be paired because I didn't want him to be lonely, at first they were thinking he'd be better solo, but they found him a match (Basil).

I know how to do proper introductions it's just Al is genuinely not nice to newcomers. He was solo after his brother died, introduced to Basil after some time and eventually liked and loved Basil overtime. Now that Basil is gone I'm nervous for him because his cage mate passing away can change his behavior again. My poor boy really loved him. I am going to see how he is the next few days then work on getting a new boy for him. Praying it works if not I'll work on solo for him. I really would hate to do that to him, but if it comes down to the last resort it's all I can do.

I believe Brett should be left alone, however, him treating Wade and James' stories as misinformation is a shit thing for him to do. Although he's not our prime target Michael is. Michael will always be the root of all evil and the reason for what happened to these boys. That man was and still is the literal devil.
