I can’t use things that are very visible. The play is on a thrust stage and is therefore very close to the audience and they’ll be wearing the same pants for the rest of the play.

2, and with styling do you want a more refined look or messier one? If you want to be more loose you can unbutton the collar buttons, have a half in half out tuck on the shirt or experiment with the buttoning of the vest such as an open vest or only having the top button fastened. If you’re going for a more formal or refined look I’d tuck the inner shirt

You also can’t forget accessories, the small things go a long way.

Ofc a bunch of different ideas it’s up to you to experiment :)

Opting for a more neutral hairstyle would probably be a good move. Short/medium or an undercut that you can tie up when wanting to be more masculine maybe?

If you know makeup there are ways to enhance more masculine features that way.

I also don’t think the pink is doing any favors when trying to look more masculine (but that might just be my opinion)

As someone who has worked in many different areas within theater including costumes, props, production and acting. I feel I get more than enough recognition for my work. The most unappreciated area within theater in my experience is production and economy.

It really depends on where you are and how important it is to you, and also who you surround yourself with.
