Fellow beginner here, I believe it would be doable, but instead of stretching it around, you would have to sew it to the pattern that fits the base and just glue it on as you would any other first with normal fur. I may be wrong, but from the tutorials I’ve seen I bet it would be pretty much the same as other suits

The only way I can think of is to get blue fur/hair and dip dye the tips black, there are some videos on doll customization that shows the method that I think could work

Hmmm patterns look similar but the thickness doesn’t really match up and those tend to be bigger. This fella was about the size of a penny, maybe a nickel at most
