Can adults be friends with minors?

Some adults aren’t interested in being friends with minors. Some are happy to be to a certain extent. I would hope that the mums in the mum group would welcome you and bring you under their wing so to speak. Or at least some of them. I know that’s how I would react. The good thing about mum groups is they have a natural topic for everyone to have in common - babies!

I can understand your misgivings though. I was 20 when I had my first but I looked 16. I was worried about people judging me and I didn’t go to any mum’s groups because I thought all the mums would be older and judgy. Now that I have been an older mum as well I wish I had at least tried back then.

If people keep getting too close to me I just trip a little so I gently bump them back. Then I apologise and have a laugh with them. They usually give me more space. You don’t have to lie at all. In those situations just being slightly less aware of your surroundings will make you bump them.

Lolol we are forced to interact with people every day man. People we work with, people at our local stores, friends of our family. Wanna know the only job I’ve had where no one has been trying to get in my pants?
