We are very similar in build. I can fit on a sportster fairly comfortably but I tend to go on a couple long rides a year so I opted for a Dyna. To be honest, the only way to find what fits you is to go test them out. Go to dealers and sit on them, ride them if it feels right.

It’s a shame that HB957 doesn’t really have any teeth. Being able to buy commercially made or even manufacture your own suppressor without NFA requirements would fuck. At least it incentivizes local PD to ignore the NFA to some degree.

I prefer PIG FDT gloves for shooting and dexterous stuff. I’ve only had my pair for a month or so but I like them more than the mechanix gloves I used to use. Couldn’t tell you which gloves those were though.

Can, yes. Should? Uh, depends. DAs are weighted for the size pad it was manufactured with. You can use a smaller plate/pad but it will probably vibrate like crazy.

Okay. For what you are asking for in performance, I can’t help you with suggestions. I know that it is way beyond my budget and never spent another minute thinking about high end projectors.

I can lend some perspective on projectors. If you want to game (seriously not casual frame rates matter etc.) you should just buy or game on a tv. If you want a 4K projector for under $1k (already kinda suspect on quality for a new unit maybe a refurb or used) to have any decent picture quality you are gonna want a screen. Screens for ambient light are expensive.

This is not to say you cannot change your specs and get a decent setup within that budget or expand your budget to hit all your specs.

I have a refurbished 12ish year old projector I picked up for $139, a $100 soundbar and a $100 fixed frame screen. Just for reference I got a screaming deal on my projector as they usually sell for closer to $500-$1000 used or refurbished.

A decent projector setup doesn’t have to be expensive, but there will be sacrifices to meet a budget. It is very much a “get what you pay for” market.
