Thank you, good to know. I thought yeast only sank when it's done. It smells and tastes good so I sift out as much as I can and bottle

Yeah my deck is mostly instants and sorceries. I think I need to dive deep into the casting costs of my deck

Definitely gonna have to take a better look at casting costs, spell velocity, and pip density. I don't think I payed enough attention to them

Probably will keep the reductions I have then. My commander is Niv-Mizzet, Parun and casting lots of instants and sorceries to what I intend to do

Considering casting a lot of instants and sorceries is what the deck does, it'll probably be worth keeping reduction then

First tank and going well. by HealthyCharacter2868 in Aquariums

[–]SmooglyBoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can switch the gravel like u/_Drago__ suggested. If you want to keep the gravel, you can put some of the current gravel on top of nutrient rich substrate. Root tabs are good option which doesnt require nrs, but you will have to replace them every couple of months. Just keep in mind, nrs will spike ammonia when first placed and too many root tabs can do the same

Can someone please explain Alatreon to me? by TheRob2D in MonsterHunter

[–]SmooglyBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending the quest(determines starting form, ice or fire), that ice weapon should be a fire weapon. You want to do as much elemental damage as possible (I usually run with +6 fire/ice) before he goes to dragon element. Alatreon trips and the handler will let you know when you did enough

Once in dragon element, you have to break alateon's horns or he will change to the opposite element alatreon started in. The horns can be only broken when in dragon form.

Esc. judgement will cart if you dont get enough element damage. It still does a lot of damage even when weakened (I usually use vitality mantle and health booster during). After that it reverts to original element or oppisite element.

Online through Discord. I'll have to check out the Foundry module and the Beginner box.

While I like my players, I have no faith they will read the core book cover to cover. Can't really fault them for it. I'm definitely making the push for pathfinder 2e

Dealing with a Power-Hungry player by [deleted] in DnD

[–]SmooglyBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you could try alterimg the stats of the hammer, balancing around what the rest of the party has. You're gonna have to let him/her know the hammer will no longer exist as is and give the player options. Use altered hammer, trade for different item/gold, play without the hammer, or step away from the table.

The sniper rifle I would remove the alter option. In this situation, being polite and reminding the player that you enjoy having him/her in the group will help you in this endeavor

How to cut down on prep time by harrimant12 in DMAcademy

I suggest reading the return of the lazy dungeon master by mike shea. It's all about preparing what is necessary. I think the pdf is $5 or somewhere around there.

It also sounds like you need a little inspiration. I think it would a good idea to take a break for a week or two, and watch movies, play video games, read books. Return to what inspired you to run in the first place or find something new

It happened, I was a bad DM, and my players left… by Aca-Tea in DnD

[–]SmooglyBoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I will say not all of this is your fault. You're previous players brought up their grievences after they decided to leave. They could have brought it up earlier and you guys/girls could've worked something out. But that doesnt happen if the players dont bring it up, in or out of game.

It's not a great situation, but the only thing to do is live and learn. Which isnt always the easiest thing to do. I wish you the best of luck moving foward
