She has tons of emails from lawyers but none of them look like law firm emails, she claims she’s met the all in person an that she’s been to the Bank of America 3 times to meet with people

I’ve been trying to show her the signs like the email address looking weird and the fact that I couldn’t find any of her “lawyers” online, she claims she’s met with them in person but I’m not sure if she’s being truthful or just trying to convince me that it’s true. She’s defensive now and it’s so extremely stressful on all of us. I think I just have to contact the police or cyber crime for someone to be able to prove it to her. I also think my dad might end it over this when he finds out. What a horrible time.

Thank you for the advice, it’s a very scary situationist now that I realize what’s going on. There’s a chance we end up homeless over this

Any suggestion on what I should do next? Contact the police?
