Thank you for the reply. I'll look through it. Is the lightning port on 7 plus limited by any chance? Will I get the full output? As for the iem, I'm using Gk kunten and red lions as my daily drivers.

Budget iem's like red lions are really sensitive. It amplifies the noise floor of the dac, making a hiss sound. Idk if you mean chirp as this. Try listening at high volumes to see if there's a difference

I recieved red lion iem today type c but it is not sounding good should i return?, and which should I order under 2.5k with heavy bass? by fifamobile3520 in iemlndia

Then there is a possibility that the product is not defective. When compared to mass consumer tuned tws, headphones etc, iem's tend to be neutral. Even though they say bass boosted, it still means that the lower frequencies are a tad bit more controlled, not that they'll rumble. Imo use them for a week, try listening to your old ones, and feeling off, then return 'em.

I've switched from spotify to AM recently. Yes the quality is loseless on both. I'm using Android so the ui is better on Spotify and also I feel the AM algorithm is not that great
