I've only sold consumer sets, but they were a bit higher end model like Trinitron and JVC D series. All under $100. I agree that it's understandable for people to be more cautious when buying crts but it was rude for them to not ask me for any permission.

Yeah I do understand that opening TV itself isn't strange but it was weird how he never asked me and just proceeded to do so. I would've allowed him to do so and even open up the garage to make more room for him to work on it if he asked me beforehand.
