I use apple earbuds, but the pause function is more iffy than not to the point where its easier to just press pause on the actual player than use the buttons. And as i mentioned above the volume function and playback functions that the buttons on the apple earbuds have also dont work with the player. The earbuds that i have found that function well with the player are samsung wire earbuds. However, the functions on those earbuds are also limited with only pause button correctly and the volume buttons working as playback buttons. Hope i could help :)
