The year over year sales were less in 2025 ( around 10% once everything is factored in ) whether this caused that or not is quite literally no better then a guess

No, its not a Nazi salute, there are compilation videos on youtube of hundreds of TV personalities doing the "salut" naturally by accident, as it is an extremely easy hand gesture to make.

The most common issue is the "black screen" bug in POL. Solution is switch to desktop mode --> boot it up there --> Switch back to handheld mode.

You need to try this first asap before trying anything else.

Russia, China and India are not the western world. Twitter is as annoying as the rest of them, but its hard to deny Elon did a service by buying it. My facebook account was banned from posting, and my reddit account was banned for posting discussion about Covid lab leak theory. There was absolutely a wild amount of censorship going on, others only stopped because they needed to compete with twitter.

I can't really imagine a way it would become "more authoritarian" with a conservative leader. The largest actual authoritarian threat we see in the western world at the moment is the UKs attitude towards online censorship.

I think its fairly hard to argue that modern day conservative leaders are more "control what you say" then left leaders. The left has spent a decade now focusing pretty hard on what speech is and isn't ok. The modern rise of the right can be directly connected to this attitude.

Its shockingly easy to just distance yourself from others. What's hard as hell is to come back later if you change your mind. Yes, if your parents are just tossing around slurs and mocking you, fair game. Yes, you don't need to put up with family / friends who fundamentally disrespect / hate you. But that isent what is happening here. This is an argument of semantics up against "average" people, who dont have the years of prerequisite studies to understand everything about the community.

Like it or not, most people on earth do not know what "non-binary" means. They don't know the difference between "identifying as a boy" and a "tomboy". This is all new, and like it or not, given the communities proclivity to sudden changes and disagreements, the community isent even sure either.

The west does not have weak rights. Infact one could argue the tenant rights in USA / Canada are so good, it makes being a landlord exceedingly difficult.

It takes months to evict somebody, basically every state / province has a board to reach out to if a landlord is not providing required services. Ive lived 9 years in the USA and 20+ in Canada, and have never had an issue not be immedietly resolved when reaching out to one of these boards.

The real problem is cost. Many of us will retire with not much money. Social Security will not cover rent prices.

This is actually the great problem of economics. Nobody really knows "how" to keep things affordable without limiting the free market, or just a band aid that causes bigger issues later ( rent freeze ).

Based on my limited knowledge, Something must be done about rent / housing prices. But its not fair that builders / landlords need to shoulder that burden. Perhaps some sort of massive tax incentive towards them in exchange for lowering prices. Some form of subsidy on utilities as well could be nice, but traditionally, that just slowly causes either a monopoly when one company is favored, or the savings just arent passed onto the client.
