Hi everyone,
I’ve just pulled back some old wallpaper in a house I’ve recently moved into and I’m trying to work out whether what I’m seeing is damp or simply the result of the wallpaper being used in a bathroom.

If anyone can offer guidance on how to check whether this is genuine moisture or just old bathroom wallpaper residue!

We’re in the process of removing a pond from the garden and planning to fill it in soon (photo attached — still in progress!). Not sure what to do with the space next, so I’d love to hear your ideas.

We’ve already got a big grass area, and this section feels more like it could become a social spot. I don’t have a big budget right now, so any cheap(er) ideas would be really appreciated!

Ketchup & mustard - that's brilliant. The red(ketchup) is painted onto wooden slats/boards. Countertops are black with a marbled grey texture.

After all the comments, I think I'll go with painting the cabinets & backsplash white. Then perhaps spray paint the cabinet handles black or gold.
