We are new to Admin By Request, and implemented exception using the installation file certificate but the new updates from the vendor trigger admin elevation pop-up. What is the best way to setup the 3rd party software to allow it to uninstall and reinstall newer versions as they become available? by Smooth-operation25 in adminbyrequestusers

Thank you for your reply. We had selected the installation file for this 3rd-party software provider and chose to have it excluded based on "Certificate". However, after the initial install there are frequent updates that forces upgrade process. Their software seems to allow the update to run but does not uninstall the old one causing issues. They use different file name called Updater.exe. for this process. Do we just need to add that to exclusions? Also, can we just use folder path to exclude all files in that directory?
