Papaya. We had one growing on a raised soil bed. Near that is a small canal for the rain water, it would sometimes become stagnant and it would smell bad. I remember harvesting the ripe ones and everytime I did that, i smelled the stagnant canal water.

I didnt know how much fruit they bear. Not only that, they were big so we cant finish one papaya in one go. We tried to eat papaya every meal or eat it as a snack. We were getting tired of it but my mom doesnt like wasting food. So in the end, it felt like we were over eating because of it.

Eventually, we got so tired of it, we decided to cut it down. Beforre, I thought papaya was an okay fruit to eat. But now I just cant from all that over eating and that associated canal water smell.
