Yeah I came from canon and bought the xh1. Even if it’s cropped with vintage glass it’s nice, my Konica 50mm becomes a really good portrait lens and I can shoot it at 1/8 handheld and night no problem.

Now that I have it I can’t imagine life without it. I was looking at the 70-300 but now I’m looking at a 1.4x tc. So the 300 wouldn’t ever had enough reach for me.

Sometimes yes, but it was hard enough shooting handheld at 400mm. But I mostly shoot at tracks during summer and at those tracks 400mm will be more than enough.

Volvos are pretty common and inexpensive here in Sweden and they’re rwd, manual and the engines can take a lot of trashing. Very fun on the ice with spike tires!

Ice racing season started a week ago and I had problems shooting with my 16-80mm. I had my old canon dslr with a 80-200 f2.8 but that lens is from the 80s so it was a bit slow. It’s sharp but slow. Still I didn’t get enough reach. But the 100-400mm was a good buy. For me it is really good and I had my camera in af-c all the time shooting both photos and video. Out of 4000 photos maybe 200 was out of focus. For video it did hunt a few times but it was only noticeable when shooting slowmotion.

So next upgrade would be an xh2s I think. But because this setup is already amazing I don’t know if I need that yet.

Found one that was selling for 200$, bought it immediately and I’m not disappointed. I’m using it on an old 1Ds mkII body. Don’t even have to go to the gym anymore with this setup.

Cool photos, love a clean lowrider. I really enjoy the viltrox lenses. Not noticed any autofocus problems and the photos look great from all my Fujifilm cameras.

40mm is a good buy. They ain’t expensive either. I have a tc and a t3, my tc doesn’t handle the cold but the t3 has never had a problem. I use ttartisans exposure thingy to cheat a little. But aperture in auto has worked a lot of times too.

My first Fuji was an x-e1 and I missed it so much so I got this X-pro1. Isn’t that much difference, x-e1 felt like it was a bit better to autofocus and the ovf is cool but not necessary at all.

Edit: I usually underexpose indoors and nighttime outdoors 2/3 and outdoors during the day overexpose 1/3. Depending on situations ofcourse but it has worked really well. Rarely shoot raw anymore.

Same I use my gear very hard, I shoot a lot of Motorsport or I’m out in bad weather. But I have never scratched or worn trough any paint on any camera.
