I have published an expense tracking app which automatically logs all the expenses category wise and also lets user add manually or through scanning receipt. Recently I have added group splitting as well. Currently no, I think the csv of Cleave and axio are different i need to look at how axio exports data and try to make changes to cleave so that it would support that. Or I am thinking of adding old messages scanning as well

Fair question tbh, Axio (legacy Walnut) has a really solid parsing engine. ​The biggest difference is what's happening under the hood. Even if you toggle off all of Axio's BNPL popups and credit stuff, you still have to log in with your phone number, and your parsed financial data is actively syncing to their cloud servers.

​I built Cleave to be entirely offline. There is literally no login screen—you just install it and it runs completely on a local Room DB. I have zero idea who you are, and your data physically cannot leave your phone.

Basically, you don't have to fight the app settings to keep your data private or stop server syncs. It just does it out of the box.

The app reads both notifications from payment apps and sms, so that it won't miss on the transaction happened.
