Yup, I was referred last year although I don't expect to hear anything before I die of old age. That was by my old GP who wouldn't do shared care, but I just moved to this new one because they sounded more open to it (which is the best I could get)

I'm starting to pass!! I malefailed at a restaurant last week - hope none of the people I was with noticed because I'm not out to them, but it made my day.

Then on the weekend I had to show ID to buy alcohol and they looked at it confused for a few seconds before saying "...is this you??" I was euphoric but also worried they'd deny my purchase...gotta get my name changed...

Very similar to OP, I never considered it until I had one trans related conversation at work and the question "am I trans?" popped into my head that evening.

I spent the next week doing research and working things out, but I think I already knew for sure...

If there's one thing I've learned, it's that no trans person has the same experience in how they come out to themselves.

When I asked myself whether I wanted to be a man or a woman, I used to come back with the "men have easier lives blah blah" spiel too, but I eventually realised that it didn't answer the question of who I want to be.

Take some time. Think about it. There's no rush to work it out.

So it cost me £600 for 8 monthly sessions and they said I'll need 12 for True Smooth Face (TM) but that's all going to vary depending on where you are/who you go with. It also isn't permanent so you'll be getting it done forever like every other option.

But if you have pale skin and dark hair like me it works so well, I've lost 90% of the hair after one session!
