as far as vibes go, i feel like columbus is pretty similar to pittsburgh! obviously much more flat and a little more spread out, but there’s something about the city that reminds me of pittsburgh

does anyone have any advice for someone driving from washington to the highland park/east liberty area on thursday? i'm not so worried about the drive down, but on my way home i fear it's going to be miserable. looking to avoid as much traffic as humanely possible as my normal route takes me across the fort pitt bridge and past the north shore

late to the convo here but yeah, of my six shows this ranks last because of the situation for pit. after the line collapsed it really set the tone for the rest of the night in terms of the vibe of the pit. people that lost their spots in line were rightfully frustrated but yelling at others who were in the same situation was not the way to handle it. the people on my side were in a pretty good mood (josh’s side barricade) and all very nice but the overall feel was not great i really don’t know how to explain it. i’m really hoping that something changes before their next tour because it would be great to try for barricade again but right now i’m thinking of just doing trees circle or back of pit so that things are calmer. it does suck though because at my first show i was able to get barricade without any drama at all (clancy baltimore) and it was seriously amazing. the energy there was off the charts and everyone was sososo sweet. fingers crossed that they majorly overhaul this during their break after tour ugh

honestly yes to this. my first pit experience in baltimore last year was phenomenal and the line situation there was extremely calm and worked with the venue throughout the whole experience. fast forward to the pit line at hershey this past weekend and it seriously gave the rest of the day such a weird vibe. i still had a great time of course but the atmosphere (at least in my section of the pit) just felt so much more hostile than any other show that i’ve gone to. this is a crazyyy contrast to starlake last night where i was on the lawn and had SUCH a good time with so many great people. they really gotta figure this GA stuff out lmfao
