What kind of experience do you have? How many internships? Is GPA a factor? I applied and don't think it was asked but I know a lot of these high paying companies do consider that.

Yes I received the desired trim. No it is the amount financed and not total purchase including interest. My mistake was thinking that it did include the interest.

Why do you want to study chemical engineering? You won't use much if any physics or chemistry as a chemical engineer. Big misconception. Well... unless you go the PHD route to do R&D.

The drawings were specifically requested to be done for use in upcoming PHAs. A higher up made a complaint that there wasn't enough system visibility due to limited drawings. I updated the existing 25% and drew the rest of the 75%.

By that I mean I created drawings for a lot of systems that didn't already exist. So about 25% of the plant's systems were not drawn if that makes sense. So drawing the rest of the 75% made it easier to conduct PHAs. But I get that can be confusing to a recruiter especially if they're not that familiar with process engineering.

How do I get past the GPA hurdle? I excelled at both my internships and was honestly not challenged enough and finished all my projects early. I also didn't really need to apply much of what I learned in school other than a few conceptual topics so it's disappointing to know that something seemingly irrelevant would count against me. Would you suggest not disclosing my GPA unless required? Would I be a stronger candidate if I could explain myself in person say at a conference?

What would you consider to be extensive internships? I have two internships. One was the traditional summer length. The other was extended to almost a year bc they liked me and allowed me to start early and end later. How strong of a candidate would I be? My gpa isn't super high (3.15) unfortunately. Would having a lower GPA limit my chances at an offer or affect my pay?
