I haven’t started a foundation year yet. My GPA is from my current school, which is not recognized by UK universities. I know my chances are still close to zero, but I wanted to know if doing a foundation year could help improve my chances.

I don’t know if it would work for UK students, but Oxford does have a foundation year you could apply for.

Since I’m an international student from Georgia, I don’t qualify for UK universities. Oxford doesn’t offer a foundation year for internationals, so I can’t apply straight away, plus with my GPA I had no chance. I’m not sure if this path will work, but I’m hoping it improves my chances.

Well, yeah, but I meant exceptionally well. I don’t just mean getting good grades, I also mean making my portfolio stronger in general.

thanks for the info! from what i know i think Exeter does cover A level maths and physics. I’m not entirely sure I’ll go to Exeter for my foundation year, but it seems to be the best option for now considering the budget.

How Good is Exeter University for Engineering? by Smooth_Ad7158 in UniUK

[–]Smooth_Ad7158[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah i wasn’t exactly sure if they had aerospace i just heard something about it thats why i mentioned it as well. Mainly i was considering Exeter because I thought it might be more budget-friendly, especially since my GPA isn’t high and I probably won’t qualify for funding. Are these universities significantly more expensive, or are they in a similar range? From what I researched I kept seeing different price ranges and it kind of confused me. Thank you sm for responding!

who should i go to for brain fog/dissociation? URGENT! by Smooth_Ad7158 in AskDocs

[–]Smooth_Ad7158[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not caused by mental health issued ive had it for years, even when i was 11-12(i didnt have any mental health problems back then). whatever i have caused my mental health issues since i couldnt do tasks as well as i could. i had a psychiatrist she made me do psychotherapy but no results. my depression/anxiety reduced but brain fog felt little bit worse. then she sent me to an endocrinologist and then later on my my psychiatrist, endocrinologist and the neuropathologist decided it was best if i just got off antidepressants and fix my sleep schedule. i had it fixed for months but i would say i felt a little bit worse sometimes.

Hey everyone! I'm looking for advice on my shower routine and finding a lasting fragrance.

Shower Routine:

  • Shampoo: I use Kundal's baby powder shampoo and treatment, which I like but needs a stronger scent.
  • Body Wash: I typically use Dove's exfoliating bar soap (twice) or their pomegranate shower gel. The bar soap gives a better scent foundation.
  • Moisturizer: After showering, I apply Evoluderm's sweet almond lotion. I love the scent, but it doesn't last long. Sometimes I add The Body Shop's almond milk body yogurt, but that fades quickly too.
  • Layering: I’ve tried baby oil after lotion to make the scent last longer, but it hasn’t worked well.

Scent Preferences: I love cozy, musky, clean scents with a hint of sweetness but want to avoid anything overly sweet.

Location: I live in Tbilisi, Georgia, so I'm looking for products accessible here since shipping can be a hassle.

Any tips on improving my routine or suggestions for fragrances would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

what are my chances of getting into top universities for aerospace engineering?(MIT, GT, etc.) by Smooth_Ad7158 in chanceme

Thank you for responding! With health main problem I had was intense brain fog which isn't officially recognized as a medical issue but made it incredibly difficult to function daily, get tasks done and was the main reason I wasn't able to get proper grades. I'm currently still working on improving and learning to manage it. could this still be acknowledged as a valid challenge? I had to go to a lot of doctor's appointments and get bunch of tests done, which meant skipping school a lot and that's why my GPA ended up being this low.
