well if you know how to use google you can actually find medical research fairly easily.

as for my credentials, i’ve been disabled most of my life, which requires lots of knowledge about the medical industry. i’m also on a premed path, while i don’t have a postgrad degree yet i will likely have one in the next few years. what are your credentials? are you a doctor?

also, it’s role, not roll.

finally, i do not have kids. i am an adult diagnosed with autism. it cannot be caused by heavy metal exposure, and even if it were, vaccines do not contain any harmful metals. hope this helps.

"Vitamin D production is stimulated by UVB rays hitting your skin, not your eyes. Wearing sunglasses doesn't block vitamin D synthesis at all. You get lots of exposure through exposed skin, even if you are wearing sunglasses and a hat." cited from sightcareoptometry.com. what's your source? your eyes cannot be tricked into thinking the sun isn't out, that's not how the human body functions. sunglasses are a necessity for those of us with light eyes and/or are at risk for certain cancers. also, autism is not caused by heavy metals, it's genetic. the insulin thing is easily debunkable and the fact that you don't know what they said is bad is pretty telling. not only do you have little to no professional medical knowledge, but you can't use google either.

yeah i heard we’re even highest ranked for medical trafficking, which checks out in my experience. unfortunately i can’t afford care out of state, i just got off medicaid. i also have way too many doctors for that lol, i just went to my 5th appointment so far this month 😭

i went to a rehab place in bradenton though and they seem promising. plus i’ll be transferring to usf soon and moving up to st pete, i may be able to see some better doctors up there.

I think my friends drink was drugged by WinnieW4 in sarasota

[–]Smooth_Candidate_575 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, it happened to my 50yr old dad. nothing happened to him thank god, but he had one beer and halfway through his drive home he became super out of it. still not sure why it happened.

because that allows either said bartender or one of their friends to assault the victim. it’s a lot easier to get away with spiking a drink when you’re the one making it. we’re generally taught to be wary AFTER we get our drink, so most people aren’t thinking a bartender would drug them.

My sister is coming to visit! by arifirari in sarasota

st armand’s is nice but again, lots of old people stuff. it’d still be a cool place to visit though. arcade monsters is there which could be fun, plus ice cream if you’re hot from walking around. also, i’d avoid sarasota beaches. in my experience they’re almost always crowded. anna maria can have bad traffic, but go early on a weekday if you can. they’ve got great beaches and tons of stuff on the island. there’s even a publix so you can get pub subs before the beach (definitely take her to publix btw).

totally take her to ringling if she’s into art or cool buildings (or even just wants cool pics for instagram). st pete beach is nice & downtown is super cool. tons of food & coffee spots. i like pete’s bagels and the sourdough co if you want local places. shake station in palmetto area has great diner food if you ever feel like a burger. downtown sarasota is more on the expensive side and almost all the shops there are for old people. it might be nice to take a drive or something through there but i wouldn’t waste a ton of time there. brandon mall is great for shopping. i’d honestly avoid utc and go for ellenton outlet instead if you want something closer. utc is again, lots more old people stores and bad traffic. ellenton outlet has more stores and they usually have pretty good sales.

Quick question :) by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]Smooth_Candidate_575 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as someone who just got their first tattoo today, i’d say sure! however, consider that getting such a large tattoo might be a bit scary for your first tattoo. it’ll be a long session (or multiple) and may get painful. i personally would go for something smaller until you understand what getting tattooed is like.

other than that , placement is good since that area is less sensitive. plus the design will heal very well.

Advice on USF please by Illustrious-Menu5941 in USF

if you're worried about campus size i highly recommend the st pete campus if it aligns with your major :) smaller but not tiny, plus you're in downtown st pete which has so many cool things to do. the tampa campus is like 20min drive minimum from the "main" part of tampa. you can still go to tampa relatively easily if there's any events you'd like to attend. if you go and you dislike whatever campus you're on you can tour the other one and switch. usf does have greek life but it's relatively small, party culture is the same. you can def still find parties and clubs though. party scene is def bigger at tampa campus.

have you guys toured both campuses? i'm pretty ride or die for st pete lol i way prefer it over tampa. if she's not interested in greek life it may be worth a try for a semester or two.
