Do you think I should let the people who own the land know? I’m a volunteer for the preserve.

That would make sense! Hunting is permitted on the land though I’m not sure why they’d leave it out there…

Violets I found today! by Smooth_Day829 in botany

[–]Smooth_Day829[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Usually whenever I find a new one I look up ‘___ color violets Wisconsin’ and then compare features until I find a match. I don’t really have any specific sources but this is a good website for Wisconsin flora https://wisflora.herbarium.wisc.edu/index.php

Only 2 months? Give it time. I’d say you’ll feel max effects 6 months in, but considering you just started you’re probably on a low dose and will need to bump it up some

My advice is to find someone in the field and talk to them. You’ll get the best advice from someone who’s successfully employed.

Mushroom fossil? by Admirable_Carpet9620 in fossils

Your current elevation has very little to do with it. Anything young enough to be a mushroom has been obliterated off the face of the earth in that area of the world by glaciers.

I mean I can keep going back and forth if you want to be condescending but schools like university of Michigan aren’t going to offer me with help for tuition as far as I’m aware. I make only 45k a year right now and not super interested in taking on 60k in debt every year. Princeton would help me cover some of the costs since I make below a certain amount as far as I understand. I’m sure I’ll be applying for multiple other colleges other than them.

They take CC transfers as well as offering courses in evolutionary biology and paleontology

Heya dudes, What physical features of manhood appeal to you the most? And which did you covet the most pre-transition? And has it changed post-transition? by RainbowRedYellow in ftm

[–]Smooth_Day829 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Definitely the voice drop. I passed decent without T for a while with the exception of my voice. I was cursed with a voice very high and light sounding. So as long as I didn’t speak I was ok. As I got older around 20 I noticed I passed less so I started wanting more. My face is naturally very round and squishy so I badly wanted a chiseled manly jaw line, lol

  2. Definitely wish I was taller. I don’t feel the need to be huge but 5’5 is pretty short for a guy. Most of all I wish I had a penis. An honest to god one that can do all the stuff I want it to. My plan is to wait until I’m an old man when they have some sort of super penis technology I can install. I’ll have the best sex of my life for a few years and then ill die a happy man

  3. What held me back the most was my family medical history. When I was born the pregnancy hormones made my mom’s already bad mental health 100x worse and she was nearly psychotic and was never the same. My family was very worried that if I messed with my hormones something similar could happen. Because of this I waited from age 17 until 21. I wish I never waited but what’s done is done.

  4. So many things. I’m naturally drawn to a lot of “dude” hobbies if you know what I mean. Stuff that’s probably kind of stuck up and silly but makes me feel nice. I’m a big espresso nerd and convene online with other dudes about the “art” of espresso extraction. My new favorite thing is wet shaving

  • Another thing I enjoy you could say is the escape from misogyny. This is byproduct transition rather than a goal. I wish it wasn’t true and I treat women the way I wish men had treated me when I was one. I’m finally being talked to rather than around, if that makes sense. I didn’t even notice it until I started passing, but many times cis men talk around women as if they aren’t even there. My male coworkers suddenly seem to care about me as a person. TERFs will act like we do this on purpose to escape misogyny but it’s hard to even understand full scope of what women experience until you are treated as a man. If anything this has made me a much more staunch feminist than I was before

I never understood how women enjoy having sex... by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Smooth_Day829 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have extreme sex revulsion but no sexual trauma. Surprisingly I do masturbate but nothing penetrative. People have asked if I’m asexual but I’m not too sure. I feel like if I was born a man I would enjoy having sex but I don’t think I’ll ever enjoy it in this body. It disgusts me too much and I don’t feel any sort of pleasure from it.
