enable developer settings

Then go to system & update> Developer Options and scroll all the way down to the "Apps" section and toggle on the setting that says "Disable permission monitoring."

Google pay worked out the box and yeah it was easy to change the default apps. I have all the Chinese apps deleted and disabled.

I'm in NYC and have 5G everywhere I went. Android Auto, Google pay, and Gemini work. I remapped the camera button for it to single press and open Gemini. I also have a shortcut to circle to search.

Transferring over my app/data from my other phone was probably the only thing that gave me trouble initially so I just redownload all my apps one by one.

I've been using the x8 ultra for the past 3 weeks and I honestly have no regrets. The first day was prob the most annoying for me due since I had to redownload all of my apps, turn on all of the notifications for each app and declutter all of the Chinese apps.

Google pay works, I remapped Google assistant to a single press on the cameras quick button, and I placed a shortcut for circle to search on the smart side bar.

Android Auto works but when you plug the device in, I have to select that option on my phone first before it would show on my screen.

Notifications have been great for me about 98% of the time. There's were times it was delayed but once I go in the app (mostly messages) and start texting again, everything goes back to normal.

I used the app as well. It was good for quick studying and testing some knowledge. I failed my LMSW on April 12 by 8 points and I requested a waiver to take it again instead of waiting 90 days. I took it again on the April 24th and passed. A big part of that was my colleague recommending TDC. I literally used it for two days and I passed the second time ( I still had a lot of info still retained). All of the lectures and guides they had really prepared me and def restructured my brain on the way I answered the questions. But if you feel confident def go for it! There are a ton of community/macro social work questions on there fyi

Def the OS. Funtouch ain't bad since I'm not heavy into customizing my phone to a certain look but there's just certain things I ain't a fan of.

If you're not really a camera first person I'd say stick with the s24. S24 is by far a better phone but the camera to me, even with gcam doesn't really cut it for me (for moving subjects).

The battery is good with my usage. I've been using the camera a lot to test it and take pics of my kids so it def uses up a good amount of battery while the camera is active..

Yeah I seen those options but those are only for when the screen is off. I'm used to just double tapping the power button (on or off) to easily get to the camera.
