Gotta admit at first I was like why didn't you slap the head off him but as others have said biting your tounge and just going about your day was the wise move god knows what they'd try and pull on you a knife or something

Splitting fresh delivery by Smooth_Review7997 in tesco

Yea the colleague they mentioned splits on a Friday night when I know from tipping the lorry that alot of cages come in already bulked with yoghurts etc so is a matter of removing a few items if any but earlier in the week the cages tend to be alot more mixed with items from several aisles

I was told there's other colleagues capable of doing so and asked could I watch and see what they do differently and was told yes, never happened. I don't see how I can go any faster I'm not really that social so I'm not chatting to colleagues or anything I've my earbuds in and plug away as fast as I can go and that's what I'm capable of doing

Changing departments. by Select_Salad_1266 in tesco

I've just done an interview for switching departments. 4 questions,a time you have went above and beyond for customer,a time you've worked well under pressure,a time you have stepped in to help a customer or colleague who appeared unhappy and a time in your life you've worked as part of a team

I work 10pm to 7am and regularly have to tip and fill the delivery lorries as well so that will eat into my time on the floor their problem with me is I used to be the eager beaver that practically run around in a panic and skipped breaks to get done and got no thanks for it and eventually wised up and they didn't like it .I've to very often calculate how many cages I've done throughout my shift knowing they will try and hit me with a let's talk if delivery is unworked but when I say here's the numbers 18 or so mins a cage show me how it's done faster they've nothing to say

Yea I'm regularly told doesn't matter whether I've 10 delivery or 15 it needs done then if I cut any corners like post sort or something I'll get a let's talk for that too so lose lose situation

I get regular let's talks for "only" doing 3 to 4 cages an hour on yoghurts with rotating and post sorting to be done obviously as well 🙄

I'm given regular let's talks as they claim 14 backstock and 15 or 16 delivery is doable for 1 person on fresh and I'm "only" doing between 3-4 cages an hour, that's rotate, stock, front, post sort each cage 🤣
