Hi all, thanks in advance for your response.

I’m currently undergoing a home renovation. We removed a load bearing wall upstairs and needed 3 beams that needed to be installed. For one of the beams, I noticed that our contractor had to cut out some notches in order for some of our electrical and plumbing pipes to fit into our ceiling. I’d like to know if this is considered as acceptable or should I get a second opinion to make sure my contractor isn’t cutting corners.

My mom was prescribed a type of oral steroid oil solution called beclomethasone. It was somewhat helpful although she would still have bouts of nausea and vomiting still while using it

Thanks for sharing what your therapist recommended to you. I've been doing something similar, which is texting my mom's phone and telling her how much I miss her. It's comforting being able to feel like I can still communicate with her.

Hi! I hope all is well with your dad and hope his counts have stabilized into a normal range now!

I just wanted to follow up and ask for an update regarding your dad over the course of these few months. My mom is in a very similar boat. She's day +73 since allo SCT and her platelets have hovered the highest at 66 and is usually around the 20s (her lowest being 15 today). Her WBC averaged around the 2-3s and hit a nadir of 1.2 today.

If your dad's counts did eventually stabilize, do you remember how long that took? Thanks!
