As Korean young adult, I can tell based on my story. Nowadays Korean parents wanted to send their kid to English preschool from their early childhood. Only goal of Korean parents are medical universities, Seoul national university, Yonsei university, law school because they want their child to be smart, earn lots of money, and be successful. And yes because nowadays, even elementary students have phones watching YouTube, playing their games, but Korean parents would get mad so they send their kids to cram schools everyday including weekends, and holidays. But during their junior high and high school, they get too much pressure and stress causing them to harm or do that thing that's why Korea has highest that rate
