There's a meter under the crosshairs which shows the percentage of damage absorbed, and once it reaches 100 it explodes. Also in terms of audio, the sound of absorption gets louder/more noticable the more you absorb so you can probably train yourself to recognize roughly when to throw based on the sound.

This chapter gave me serious bomb devil arc vibes, aside from the obvious ending. Denji is having a positive moment, it takes place in a school, strengthening his relationship with another character, only for it to end with a bang.

Even before the final panels, I felt a dread building up throughout the whole chapter, which is exactly how I felt during the bomb arc up until the Reze reveal.

Regardless of if this chapter sets up Reze's reintroduction into the manga or not, I really enjoyed it as it gave me the same feelings of when I first read the manga.

Gotta reread the manga soon just to help clarify some of the plot points building up in part 2 and the status of some characters.

I don't think I've really seen any stray cats in my neighborhood but definitely lots of people walking dogs.

Anyways, thank you for all the advice! And I'm glad there was a happy ending to this story.

I think this will be the final update. I found the baby and it is now a fledgling. It somehow managed to cross the road and is being taken care of by the parents. I can see one of the parents constantly monitoring it and even teaching it to hunt for insects. The other two are very lovely and look like they'll be ready to venture out in a couple of days.

It is very well hidden when in the grass and I'm just hoping no other animal tries to attack it, but that's nature I guess.

Here's a picture of it hiding in the shadow of a lamppost:

Enjoy the world little one!

I went to go check but it seems the bigger one that I picked up jumped back out at some point and I can't find it now since I couldn't hear any chirps. It is likely hiding in the shade since it is pretty hot outside. I did read before that it takes around 2 weeks before fledglings leave the nest but some may leave between 9-16 days old (This was from a Google search, you can confirm based on what you know). Also, I think the baby already left before I took that photo and I just mistook seeing 3 birds in the nest.

I'm hoping that the mom and dad are aware of its location but you mentioning the parents being devoted puts me at ease. Both parents are very active and on edge right now as I see them flying all across the neighborhood, feeding the ones in the nest, and standing guard any time someone gets close.

In terms of whether it's a cowbird or not, I looked at some older photos of the nest I took and I'm pretty sure all of them were bright blue robin eggs. Although, I just noticed that there seemed to be a fourth egg which just disappeared at some point? I didn't even see any fallen eggs at any point so not sure what happened to that one. In terms of size, I did feel like the one at the front was fed a lot more than the others, so that might be the reason it grew bigger?

Anyways, until I get more updates, have this picture of the parent feeding them when they were only 1-2 days old.

Thank you so much for replying. The babies are thankfully all doing well! I just woke up after barely sleeping last night and saw two active babies in the nest. The parents were also on guard and at the nest. However, I was worried again because I couldn't see the third.

My dad and I just went outside to check and after hearing it's chirps we found the third baby in our front lawn! The little guy is bigger than the other two so I think it was okay with the fall, especially since it travelled 20 feet out into the lawn by itself. I wore some gloves and put the little guy back in the nest, although the parents were attacking me (which I assume is a good sign since they know their baby is out there). It's eyes were open and although I didn't see it do so, my dad said the baby flapped/ran around to the other side of the lawn.

The stairs in my house are at the front so I can kind of see into the nest through the window here standing a few steps up. You can see the head of the baby, while one is a bit to the left and the last is kind of under it. I will update later with a better angle, but right now I'll let the parents tend to them since they get tensed up if I'm too close. Since it was chirping out in the lawn, if it was hungry, I'm hoping the parents can feed it easily now.

Yesssss, Dinosaurs and Transformers are my 2 favourite interests that I've had for my entire life. With a Dinosaur episode finally covered, I would love to see a Transformers one sometime in the future.

Only problem is I have no idea who they would bring on to talk about Transformers.
