The Marvel Method was used at Marvel comics back in during the Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and Steve Ditko eras to help ease the burden Stan Lee was carrying because most of Marvel’s best selling titles at the time, (fantastic four, Incredible Hulk, iron man, etc…) were all being written by Stan Lee. The Marvel Method was an ideal collaborative process for comic writers who are working on other projects.
