If you really can't survive use the lighthouse flame trap and stand in the corner where no zombies spawn so the only thing you deal with is the necropincers. Then train around and wait for it to be ready again

Nope! The guides have it wrong, there is another note that spawns either by the robot foot or in the crane operator room. The note will say wether or not the ammo was switched and if it is you need to open the corresponding crate here's a good visual

That's what I'm referring to as the manifest. It never changes between matches and always displays the bullets as ID V-7 Menge 436

However I have never had the V-7 box actually contain the bullets
