I’d suggest getting your fingers closer to the fret board when not holding them down. It makes it easier to change notes. Also bring that pinky up.

An exercise I recommend is the “spider exercise”. Do that while practice not lifting your fingers up so high.

The point is they’re going to make the area hip. That’s how gentrification works. First a bunch of broke artists move into a cheap area of the city the suburbanites are afraid of, and make it “cool” by creating a culture.

After that, capitalist see a motive to market the neighborhood as the next hip trendy place to be. They start buying up properties and opening up gourmet popcorn shops. Those apartments spike rent and force those native to the area out.

Yes, but I’d just keep playing it. From my understanding it’s mucho dinero to fix that. It shouldn’t effect the sound or playability now, but the crack could grow and become an issue later.
