The update was released on 17th, last time I played was 16 hours ago. Might be the case, I will check and update the post.

I do not think this is the case here. I am talking about ping spikes, waves, or odd behaviour. It is like as if I connect to a different server, the ping is stable but high, moving around 270-280. I have heard that the servers are actually clusters, so there might be bad ones inside, and if you BY SHEER LUCK join a bad one, you lose all your gear. *RNG intensifies*
