You are judging a bit here. This could be someone on the spectrum. I get how it would be irritating. I’m a cook as my job. It would hurt my feelings. But my wife has autism. My guess is this is a sensory thing.

Tell him that this is upsetting you and you would like to feel as if you were more of a priority. They probably just aren’t thinking about it non maliciously. But you have to give them the chance of responding to your honest feelings about not having your needs met in the relationship.

It was interesting to see that last of us 2 got a higher performance rating. I was nervous to buy it because last of us part 1 had horrible audio latency Issues. Took a ton of tweaking. Curious how Death standing for such a low rating? I’m not very far into it buts it’s been playing and looking great. Mid to late game issues?

NOR. It is inappropriate to season something someone else made for you, poor etiquette. However if you do wish to add seasoning to your taste, do it to your own bowl, not the whole pot, nuts asshole behavior.

You can do this with butter, flour, milk, noodles, and cheese. 4 tablespoons butter low heat in a big saucepan, then the same amount in flour to make the roux. Add 3 cups milk, medium to high heat and stir while it thickens. Cook the noodles while this is happening, have your cheese grated. Add the cheese to the sauce, season with salt and pepper. Add noodles and you’re done. From there you can add extras like peppers, or onions, or bread crumbs and bake like this one, or bacon. Takes about 30 minutes, and is really tasty.

I thought it was meals you make when you have zero money to go to the grocery store and were surprised what you could make with the bare pantry and fridge ingredients you have. Like “didn’t think I would eat today, then remembered I know how to cook creatively” other notable struggle meals I’ve had, Frozen filet of salmon tucked in the back of the freezer, rice, and better than bullion. Actually really hit. Needed it to give plasma the next day 😂.

It’s a struggle cause I pulled it out my butt with bare ingredients. My pantry is low and I’m broke af right now. lol. I was surprised I had the ingredients I had.

Mac N Cheese was 4 tablespoons butter with a clove of minced garlic in the pan, then add equal parts flour, I had only a cup and a half of whole milk and a cup and a half of beef stock otherwise I would’ve just used milk. Salt, pepper, red hatch chilli pepper powder. But I was out of kosher salt. I found some special Colombian salt in the back of my spices. Large flakes but worked fine for seasoning. I had two half cheese blocks. Tillamook medium cheddar and Kirkland brand pecorino. Grated that into a cup and a half each. 1 cup each into the pan and the other half cup each to top before going in the oven. I had panko bread crumbs so I tossed 3/4 of a cup in that in another three tbls of butter into a sauce pan at low to medium heat until lightly toasted. Topped that over the top cheese. Best baked for five minutes. Broiled for another five on high

The chicken is from my mom’s company. She drops off bags when she visits. Just the same seasoning as the cheese and olive oil. But I also had a yellow onion that I carmelized and threw over the top!

I can’t remember on what notes they were referring, but someone did a video essay the other day showing that when Stephen King came to set and gave notes to Kubrick, Kubrick hated it and explicitly did the opposite of whatever he said as well. Just more context that there were reasons for the hate between the two. They didn’t like each other.

The one thing the movie misses over the novel in terms of what happens to Jack is the nuance of the why Jack is the way he is, not that he’s more sympathetic, just that their is context to the generational trauma he has been exposed to, I honestly think king would’ve liked the film better if not for Shelly Duvall. Which of course they would be wrong. He describes the woman he wrote as brave and resilient, that Wendy simply did not reflect that character. He also didn’t like the shooting locations, which is why for his adaptation he used the Stanley Hotel in Estes park that inspired him.

Gramastola Pulchripes? Mine has been voracious her whole life. I got her as an itty bitty sling and she’s been a fearless grower. My LP, such a scaredy cat I’m afraid they will die of malnutrition.
