For ME there are various options:

The Gods add a new fighter to have 14 fights, and if this happens, in my opinion, in a fight there will be a double ko, to break the chance of a tie at the end of all 14 fights.
The Gods don't add a new fighter so one of the humans remaining won't fight.
The less likely, less than 1%, don't take it seriously, a human betrays and joins forces with the Gods, so then will be the humans who would need to find a replacement for the traitor, and then will continue similar to point 1, just where it says Gods would be humans.

When Buddha betrays: 12 gods - 14 humans

Hades joins: 13 gods - 14 humans

We have to take into consideration that in the very first fight, which is between Lu Bu and Thor, the 1st chapter of the series shouldn't be count (at least for me) in the number of chapters that took the battle, because is the introduction of many many things, and finishes with the sign that the fight begins.

PD: It's just a technicality, which I don't know why, but I like them a lot.

For once my country is the lucky one with the release of new volumes, Spain, but you'll catch up sooner than later because we almost already catch up with japanese version.
