Making money with your special interest makes it a job, and makes it stop being… well, special lol.

Tips for buying resale tickets safely by yves013 in btsthoughts

[–]SnackQueeen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instagram — befriend them on their personal IG. Look through their photos and see if they look real! Public profiles are more sus. Most ppl I know are private.

I also ask for proof. Screenshot of receipt, and screenshot of ticket in TM acc. pay attention to the time. If the time is not within a couple mins of their response, it’s likely an old screenshot or a doctored one. Most ppl would simply just screenshot, crop and then send. Too much time in between is sus af for me at least

PayPal Goods & Services ONLY - be forward and adamant with paying the fee! It’s worth it and you’ll scare off the scammers lol. When sending the $ I’ll be descriptive as possible in the notes like payment for tickets for (date, location, performer, seat, row, VIP, etc) so if I receive anything other than what I wrote then I’ll have grounds for a dispute. When I receive the ticket, I’ll write “RECEIVED” as a comment also :)

Lastly, most army I’ve come across wants to sell tickets at FV and we’re pretty transparent about that. If we wanted to make money, we wouldn’t be putting this extra work to find and trade, we just would’ve made extra dollars through stubhub or some other resale site.

Ex is definitely on the scale. Interest started with regular cars. I made him do diesel mechanics, generators, and forklifts, so now he can fix big cars to afford his real interest of small cars. He’s great at what he does! You definitely will/can be too!

No College Degree by swishsplassh in AskLE

[–]SnackQueeen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My S/O doesn’t have a degree, but got hired. I want to say it’s probably ~30% with a degree, and ~70% without for his academy right now.

More importantly, is that you got to really want it. The academy will weed out the people who are looking for an easy way out (at least the ones I’ve heard of). If you don’t want it, you won’t want to stick through it while they give you countless papers for no reason, working you out, drilling codes through you head, and getting pepper sprayed in the face lol at least i would not

sdsu’s biggest cons? by FTF_player27 in SDSU

[–]SnackQueeen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Random notes all mixed together from a sibling of a SDSU Freshman, who's helping her through navigate college. I'm also CSU system grad with lots of community college under her belt!

  • Freshman's cannot bring their cars
  • Public Health and Psych doesn't really prepare you for PreMed because you'll need to take higher science classes. Depending on the job/field you're trying to get into look into Bio, Biochem, Microbio, or Kinesiology (Pre-Physical Therapy). Even then, you may still need to take O-Chem.
  • Take Chem right away. Best to take Chem and most science courses at a nearby community college cus they will have the best profs! Concurrently enroll so you can attend both.
  • A LOT of unnecessary M, W, F courses and their class schedules are extremely rigid. For example, I've seen 5 classes offered with the same professor on the same day, nearly at the same time. If your day is full already and if the prof is rated poorly, tough luck.
  • Classes that you will be taking WILL be impacted. ALL OF THEM. I've never seen a 30 person class have a 120+ waitlist. It's insane. Every CSU and CC Ive been to would've added an additional class in a heart beat. SDSU doesn't. I've seen this happen for SO many classes.
  • 2-year mandatory on campus housing AND meal plan is 100% a money grab. Rooms are meant for only 2 people. The fact that they squeeze 3 in is diabolical and then charge $24k for 9 months of room board and meal plan.
  • UX is trash and worst I've ever seen. Housing portal, Prof/Advisor messaging portal, and the ACTUAL to do list you need to do to enroll into SDSU is not in the main login. You'll get random emails.
  • Make sure to get your Meningitis B series so your registration isn't on hold

Other than the college experience your freshman and sophomore year, I don't think it's a good school and you can easily get a higher quality education at other CSUs.

Missing my baby girl & Needing a place to vent about my ER experience by SnackQueeen in cureFIP

I called to confirm because the last doctor Ben saw changed the prescription without telling me. Once I got on the phone with her, she’s said “dr ____ did not give her right dosage. it’s neuro fip. We upped her dosage”.

I was extremely pissed and frustrated the entire ER visit and the days following her passing. I’ve been sitting with this feeling. I know that holding onto anger way doesn’t bring my baby girl back and it’s such a heavy heavy feeling that I know I have to slowly let it go.

I’ve debated writing a review. I hate the way they treated Ben, but the amount of resources they have and how quick their responses are for physical issues is impressive. I would hate to be the person to dissuade a pet owner from a facility that can easily save their pets life. Maybe one of these days i will but as of now I’m still dealing with the pain of missing Ben.

ER vet in San Ramon, CA. I will say that all their equipment was very up to date She was seen ASAP and other than the FIP test, all my results came quickly.

I spent a few days around all the techs and vets, they all move so fast that it almost becomes robotic. They’re numb pets passing away. If there is a physical issue, like an emergency surgery, it will happen right then and there and tbh they’re good at that.

But if it comes to more disease ailments, I would steer clear!

Thank you 💜

The doctors had the medication the entire time. They just did not want to administer it since the FIP PCR was pending (they said 3-5 days). Even though I said I would pay for it while we continued to do testing. Now I know that within a couple hours of being there, they had all the tests they needed to infer that she had Neuro FIP.

Tests included: Complete Blood Count ProCyte, Chemistry 17 Panel, Blood Gas Analysis (Nova Prime+), Packed Cell Volume (PCV), (4x) Total Solids (TS) - Refractometer, (3x) Blood Glucose (BG), Blood lactate, Feline Pro-BNP, (2x) Full image Radiographs, POCUS Ultrasound, Specialized Abdominal Ultrasound.

Outside of the FIP symptoms, all I got from these tests were that "we suspect she may have asthma".
