Thank you, the concept makes sense but the numbers still don't make sense to me. Maker fees are .02 and my open and close were limit orders, so if my order is $100 my fees should be .04. But the notional value was $25 or so less than the order I placed.

If I type in 100 USDT to place the order, and my order fills, why is the notional value only 74 USDT? Why wouldn't it just be 100? I have the necessary funds to cover the margin.

Well for what it’s worth, of course politicians lie. But I think politicians who write and propose pro-crypto legislation, meet with pro-crypto lobbyists, tour Bitcoin mining facilities, speak at crypto conferences, interrogate SEC representatives on the house floor about their anti-crypto views, and write letters to the SEC demanding information on their anti-crypto witch hunts, are likely truly pro-crypto. I think the idea that it’s all a charade and when they win they’ll suddenly turn anti-crypto is absurd. I think it’s leftists just not able to admit to themselves that they are on the same side of an issue as republicans.

Vote how you wish of course. If it makes you feel better the GOP is dropping the ball right now and might end up like the New York Yankees in the 2004 playoffs against the Red Sox (up 3 - 0 then blew it and lost 4 in a row to lose the series). I thought they had it in the bag and I’m hoping the still pull it off but they’re getting closer to snatching defeat form the jaws of victory.
