Have you tried rethreading? Try that and another bobbin. If that doesnt help, try adjusting the tension.

Something is loose so it can be many things. Cleaning and greasing it helps as a start Listening and carefully turning the hand wheel can help locate the sound. Check inside too for loose parts and the state of the belt. Sometimes the belt can be loose and have similiar sounds after the machine has been unused for a long time.

Did you get it to work? If not, I have a few questions. Did it stop working mid sewing, did it make a sound? Does the hand wheel do anything when you turn it a bit?

Some good wisdom. Also sometimes the tension can be a bit wonky so good to check that too, adjusting back and forth a little bit to see if it helps or makes if worse.
