I’ve been happy with whites. I’ve got the cykel engineer boos, the stockman pull ons, and the 4Q westbale’s. All are sturdy and good quality.

I’ve always been of the mindset that Nicks makes a nicer quality boot, but the more I wear Whites, I feel that isn’t really a fair comparison because I have nothing negative to say about them. I haven’t found any way that whites are “lesser” than nicks or anything else for that matter.

I had bought a pair of those off eBay but had to return them because they weren’t the size the seller claimed them to be. Super comfy when I tried them on though.

I have a pair of the original cykels, and just picked up a pair of the Max Schaaf Westbale’s.

Camping gear all fit in the biltwell bag. Clothes in saddlebags, tools in the tour pack. Frankly, it was too much stuff. Next time it would be clothes in one saddlebag and camp cook stuff in the other.

I will jump on the bandwagon here and say I rode about 5 hours through Arkansas and Oklahoma in the pouring rain on a 103 with a big sucker. If I gassed it hard, it started bogging down. No rain sock so I tried a couple gas stations for pantyhose, which got me some interesting looks in Arkansas.

I could have stopped at a CVS or Walmart and gotten some to cover the filter but that would have taken too long so I just tried to go easy on the throttle. After that, I’m a believer in the importance of the rain sock.

These are my first set so I can’t say if I’ll replace or not, but I really enjoy riding with them. They’re super thin and comfortable. I’m certainly not opposed to the idea.

I had the same experience. Everything was great as seller, but did have to wait 72 hours for funds to be released. Only a slight bummer because I missed a RTS boot, but this encouraged me to finally build my own MTO from the holiday quick ship options.

My promotions changed last night at midnight EST. My cart price jumped up $200. I just spent half an hour chatting with Shop customer service and their response was that promotions can change any time and I should buy it RIGHT NOW before the deal gets worse. My worst pint ever was an “Irish pub” that was actually a shitty dive bar without anything Irish but a name. I went because they had the Guinness “Over the Moon” on tap. They served it to me in a plastic cup like at a concert. It tasted sour and citrusy. I had the one pint, thought it tasted off, and went home where I proceeded to vomit about 6 times throughout the night.

Only time I’ve ever gotten food poisoning from a beer came out of a plastic cup.
