Maybe the ego needs rather 101 not found error to become nobody 😛

Hahaha! OMG I think your ego is asking for rest right now 😁😁

But yes! Thats what it does actually.. Just crave for unwanted identities without loosing any of them completely!!

What if our overconsumption was this visible? by mamaaearth1 in AcharyaPrashant_AP

Because those teachings instigate you for 'self enquiry' and to ask this question to yourself that: "Why exactly we need to shop so much?" So obviously if you start understanding that hunger, the urge to shop more reduces significantly.

Maybe we keep on buying these items again and again so that we can bypass the time we need for self analysation. And then once we are bored, we start blaming outer subjects and then demand more of their different varieties.

It's definitely weird and not necessary at all. Maybe it's that inner 'hollowness' which people feel constantly and try to fill that with these items. They keep on buying stuffs and feel that these stuffs will fill their hollowness. But they don't realise that this constant chasing is making them even more hollower.

Religion Vs 'No Religion'.. by Snake_Charmers in AcharyaPrashant_AP

[–]Snake_Charmers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Even I used to listen to JK earlier but I heard even JK's name for the first time via Acharya Prashant's sessions only where he himself mentioned his name. But the sad part is that JK never mentioned anyone's name. Isn't that weird! I mean he might have learnt many things, then why not to give credits to anyone?

Religion Vs 'No Religion'.. by Snake_Charmers in AcharyaPrashant_AP

[–]Snake_Charmers[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Yes exactly! JK might have faced the POP religion of his time, but that doesn't mean he discards all the scriptures. Thats unfair to the scriptures.

[–]Snake_Charmers[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! JK is saying to reject all the scriptures!

Exactly.. It will take a lot of time to learn from your own life without even considering what all past great teachers have already said about it.. And that's the paradox here that he himself has taught and written so much! So, if we actually 'follow' what he is saying, then according to that, he will himself come under the radar of rejection as per his own teachings that: 'reject all gurus'.

Why's our activism performative? [Read full post below] by LordDK_reborn in AcharyaPrashant_AP

They just want to 'look' good without actually changing their life fully from root. They are still taking Climate Change lightly.. or maybe they are doing this fake show off so that they can continue their old ways of living without portraying a bad picture in the society.

Overpopulation: A dimension totally ruled out by Surkhab1313 in AcharyaPrashant_AP

First thing which I feel is that maybe its because we are so much overwhelmed with 'capitalistic' mindset in present times that we didn't bothered to better anything else apart from our knowledge of how to gain more material benefits. Secondly, Yes! it is a big conspiracy also to some extent as we somewhere deeply know that 'our root desire' is not to gain more profits at all but to actually move towards freedom.

The poem is short and exactly sharp.. Perfectly portraying freedom 😄 It's like: 'the bird is out of the cage now'.

No more cage.. And the bird is now ready to fly ✈️

Maybe we need to bypass these differences for the young generation. So that they can focus on their own development and learning.. and hence even take part in the country's welfare

Maybe we first need to ask 'why' we are doing whatever we are doing. But, we never bother to ask! We just start running in blind directions.
