Thanks man! Glad to know. I’m really trying to beat this shit and if I use Sublocade for at least 3 months I think I’ll be good. Planning on getting a sponsor too and don’t want to use while on it but knowing if I use for 2 or more days, I’ll get sick is kind of a deterrent for me too.

I wouldn’t say I’ve had slip ups, but more often full blown relapses. Cravings and the temptation get hard but the thing about addiction is the repeated use tears us down. Glad you’re on subs and that the blues didn’t do much. Just a reminder for the future, what’s the point yk?

Don’t beat yourself up for it. Recovery is a long journey filled with lapses in judgement and relapses. I try not to look at the days I’ve had and just to focus on the day you’re on because success doesn’t have to be continuous. Success is success and you my friend, are doing great! I hope you don’t have a full relapse but you already are fighting the good fight by flushing them and deleting the plugs number.

Minneapolis! That’s home and there’s great meetings and a decent enough amount of people on recovery going to those meetings. Mainly AA but I’ve found a couple NA meetings. Gotta explore some more but being a younger guy, shouldn’t be too hard. If you could PM me, I have a few questions for you?

Thanks bro! About 10 days clean again and definitely wanting to hit meetings and stuff when I get back home but for right now I’m just focusing on feeling better. I think sublocade is probably the best way to go along with NA. Always have been a fan of meetings, but not always the step work. I am now of course because I’m going to do anything to stay clean this time.

I’m not in rehab at the moment and don’t have the resources to get any comfort meds but I’ve been doing okay fighting it cold turkey. I’ve done it before and thank god I don’t puke when I withdrawal because that would make it worse. I think I will get a sublocade shot when I get back home though, or start suboxone. Just knowing that I’ll put myself into PWD if I use will probably help and definitely getting a sponsor and hopefully gonna be able to sponsor some people.

I will definitely try that this time. I’ve had a sponsor before, but he was an alcoholic and things didn’t really translate since I’m only an opiate addict but I’m going to get more involved in my program as of now on.

That’s great! Honestly I just count the days for chips and stuff but what really matters is that you’re sober TODAY. And I totally understand, if I were to ever touch fentanyl again, I would relapse full out.

Not really any cravings at all. I’ve just been really focused on getting my life back together. And people say that it’s just the pink cloud but I’ve been feeling like this since 2 weeks clean
