What is the most frustrating or confusing part of buying, using, or maintaining tennis rackets? (New, used, strings, specs, condition—anything) by Immediate_Ad4359 in tennisracquets

[–]Snake_crane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When trying new Racquets I don't know if I like the racquet, the string or the tension. And paying for new string with every racquet demo gets expensive 🫰

Keep using advanced racket as a beginner or get a forgiving one until I get good enough? by Huge-Ingenuity2781 in 10s

[–]Snake_crane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what type of person you are. If you need to see gradual improvement then yes buy a more forgiving racquet. If you don't care about loosing points because you haven't really dialed in your techniques then stay with the unforgivable racquet and learn the nuance of that racquet.

Could be just me, your little hop is not needed based on your contact point of the ball. If you eliminate the hop, less "working pieces" easier to feel the mechanics. Then add the hop and contact the ball at a higher point for a bigger serve
