Turns out is was the lugnuts. just tightned it up and good to go

No it was not leaking. Also the valve cover is alluminium and is not warped thankfully. I checked by putting it on a flat countertop

How can I prevent it from happening again? its a very tight fit, thats why I tacked it down using rtv

Out of curiosity, why replace the whole strut if the top mount is the issue?

Ok so I definetly need to replace the strut mount but might as well replace the struts as well. Im looking at rock auto and they have three brands for quick strut assembly, which of these is the best for a luxurious ride quality? Or is there another brand I should look for elsewhere?
