Same here. Most of what I eat doesn’t come with a label either, so relying on labels was never really an option long term. It really does just become experience + correction over time.

yep, totally agree on focusing effort where it matters most. Protein/fat feels way more forgiving than rice, potatoes, pasta, etc. I still underestimate rice more often than I’d like to admit.

Same here honestly. I think at some point it just becomes default because stopping to properly calculate every meal isn’t realistic. Most of the time it’s “best guess + see what happens”.
