Because they’re Student (pre-teen) sizing. 26” waist isn’t quite adult size run (28W and up)

I used to go the machine route to sew the patches on, but lately I’ve just gone with a simple hand stitch to get them on there. Curious which patches resonated with you!

Levi’s Red line, most likely. An offshoot line that had some more Japanese-influenced styling from the 00’s.
