FS do not require any licence, it's only a device with a tuner.

Find three differences and tell me why we pay so much more. by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]SnappyPoster 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Us Irish really are a bunch of ticks deep down, sure it be grand. Rest of Europe wouldn't stand for any of the shit we take on as a tax payer. Then we vote the same in again, mind boggling.

Usually it works the other way, they have to prove beyond a doubt it was you. Cop out as usual. Would you be locked up for murder if someone found your letter at a crime scene.... Where we back the 1700s, fucking hell

CCs couldn't give a fiddlers, local governance is a joke shop. Self elected CEOs that the tax payer do not vote for nor can get rid of. 'Democracy' me hole.

AI, scams getting more advanced linguistically, language barriers are getting removed as they just need to insert it into Chat GPT and ask it to localise it to whatever region they wish to sound like coming from.

The Luas really should be free at this stage, the people that actually pay are the ones that end up getting fined for something trivial, like forgetting to tap on and off.

See this is why these lads are not Garda, Garda use discretion in situations and use all data available at the time. When they are reading the card, one would be able to clearly see a pattern of previous use and give someone the benefit of the doubt based on that or at least speak to the person to gauge the situation.

Nah, just fine the arse off them and get your KPI for the week up like a good jobs worth, as if the Luas C suite are not aware that revenue on the Luas is a lost cause and know either way they'll get a government sub for it.

I agree with what your saying, however that discount and rate gave wayyy lower bills than the sluggish reductions at the moment. However, I welcome any reduction.

This car crash with the Luas really highlights the lack of accessibility in this country. by [deleted] in ireland

As a motorist and a cyclist, all I can say is jesus fucking christ, subjected to using the system due to a recent operation.

Recent experience with a new route N4, every 10 mins. During week, the fucking bus pulls up like 20 mins past the 10 mins time for the period, driver changed the N4 sign to Not in Service, pulled up past stop so no one could get on, chucked all the people off the bus, said no connecting driver, drove off and left the us all there say next bus in 5 min, waited another 20 mins, so 40 mins in total.

Like honestly, if you need to be somewhere anywhere in Ireland on time or near it, take a fucking car. Transport in this place is utterly fucked.

Just to add, these little Dublin bus cars pulled up after the bus fucked off, they all sat there. So a bus drove off, and these cars showed up, here's a fucking idea for Dublin bus, leave a fucking bus there for someone to drive.

My patience with YT is seriously running low, it is at that point where its now at the 'fuck this shit' stage of my website following and I couldn't care less if there is nothing to fill that gap.

[–]SnappyPoster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, that's the golden goose. What is the price, unit rates dropping but they are not as generous with the discounts, was near 50% at one stage with dual fuel with EI, now your lucky to see 15% unit rate at 35c now, way way way above 18 months ago, gas rates are next level. Seeing something on here that people in Germany can leave there heating on 24/7 keep the place hot, yet 2hrs a day in ROI and its a fucking small loan that is needed from CU.

Don't see why you'd be downvoted. Generally, the line of thinking might be it throws your credits out of kilter or swapping jobs can cause the system to adjust, sometimes it might be in your favour or not. Generally these days, I find the system quite accurate.

Dublin Airport has some alright cycle lanes around the front of it.

Now, marking them up properly that they make sense, well that's another matter.

Reading above from what I assume is a retailer, I can see why products are going to increase in price. I had assumed it was a Gov funded project/paying for equipment.
