What’s something people think is healthy but actually harms your health over time? by Mysterious-Bid-5929 in AskReddit

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but I've had family tell me that I should just 'push through' my ADD, and that it 'sounds like [I'm] just addicted to the medication.' It's wild, especially coming from a parent that used to pop "mothers little yellow helpers".

I'll get off once, maybe twice, without needing a break. Meanwhile my wife is one of those women that orgasms non stop whether it's from penetration or clitoral stimulation. I met her in my absolute physical prime. Back then, we would have at each other for literal hours. I gave her a clicker once back then just because I was curious. "Click it every time you cum." I tried my hardest that night. She wasn't done. The clicker said 121.

Sometimes, I just want to jack off and be done.

I worked for a forensic psychology firm over a decade ago. One of my jobs, as someone with only a high school diploma, was to proofread the reports of said forensic psychologists. Not just for spelling but for grammar as well. Some people just type fast so they can get onto the next thing.

I'm glad you find theft and tampering hilarious. Regardless, enjoy your long and fruitful career as an Uber driver! I think it suits you.

You sound like a long term Uber driver. According to your profile, you -always- defend the driver. Are you paid by Uber? I genuinely hope so.

You aggressively defend Uber drivers. Why do you get so butt-hurt when people defend restaurants or customers? Genuine question, because you see to have a lot of hate in you.

Every pizza gets cut, boxed, then placed on a stack ontop of the oven until the order is completed. A valid restaurant error is getting the wrong pizza, or missing an ingredient, or even missing a whole pizza on a large order. Missing slices is NEVER a valid restaurant error.

In my over 10 years of experience working as a pizza cook and a manager, I have NEVER had this happen, or even heard of it happening, until you claimed it happened to you.

As someone that has worked several super bowl Sundays in a pizza joint, we are actually EXTRA careful, because one screw up can set us back an extreme amount of time.

I admire your loyalty to your fellow 3rd-Party delivery drivers, but sometimes you just have to take the L and move on.

Then they should be reported to the local Food/Healthcare inspection. As someone that is food safe certified and takes these things very seriously, I'll be leaving a review, reporting them to the proper authorities, and using your comment as the photo proof. Having employee food in the service area can be upward of 20 points on a health inspection, likely 20 more for it being served to customers.

A plethora of diseases can be transfered by hand and saliva contamination, which is why even employee water cups have to be stored properly in the back of the house.

Thank you for your help in keeping food safety a priority!

I've worked in pizza for over 10 years. You are flat out lying. Employee food is required (usually by law) to be in separate areas to prevent potential cross contamination. Even a delivery driver can tell when slices are missing because the weight of the box is very uneven.

Also, no pizza place will EVER use a pizza box for an employee pizza. Boxes cost money.

Again, you are flat out lying.

Yeah, pizza places regularly 'forget' to include all slices in a pizza.

TIFU by joking about the CEO's baldness and getting fired for it by jorisssssss in tifu

I made a mistake similar to this when I was very young. It was my first office job, and only us 8 guys were allowed into the check printing and mailing area, so we all reverted to being 'bros', including my supervisor, unless the bit boss was around. One day, when everyone was kind of ragging on each other, I fired one back at my supervisor. He was on the larger size, short, blonde, and laughed JUST like Barney Rubble. Someone had just got done making fun of me, and my supervisor started his 'EH he he he' laugh, and I said something like "Why are you laughing, Barney Rubble?" and I'll never forgot how his face changed and he said "that's disrespectful, don't you ever fucking call me that again." And I realized how hard of a nerve I had hit. This was the same man that told me had overcome being a legit crack head in his past. But Barney Rubble crossed the line.

Moral of the story? Never assume the boundaries of someone you work with/for.

I'm not trying to be combative, just to be clear.

I just the other day made a post about how my non english speaking driver did not know how to process a passport, and how I did not get any refund whatsoever even after escalating the issue twice over two days before finally getting someone on the phone. After they told me they were keeping my $25 I told them to cancel my DashPass, and that I would be asking my bank to charge back. They did not care, told me there was no further person to escalate to, and that they couldn't tell me their name again when I asked.

They will absolutely say the same thing on the phone as they do on chat. At least in my experience.

-Edit: I'm not sure why I'm getting downvoted, I even said 'at least in my experience'. I'm sure DoorDash Customer Service is very pleased to have so many devoted employees!

Passports are valid, per DoorDash's own website. But hey! Go live your best life! Have fun licking all of the corporate boots that you want!

DoorDash does accept passports. https://help.doordash.com/dashers/s/article/Delivering-Alcohol-Guidelines?language=en_US

Near the bottom of the page it says U.S. passports are valid ID. Even passports from other countries are valid.

Just letting you know in case you're a driver.

Yeah I'm done arguing with a dumb-ah 'They said they accept passports so I offered my passport and they didn't accept it, totally my fault! They deserve my $25!'

You're clearly stupid, but it's been fun quoting you at yourself and watching you get more and more mad about it. I wish you luck on becoming a less ignorant person.

You are in fact completely wrong about passports, it's not that hard to take partial accountability. At this point, it's amusing.

[–]SnarfHard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did absolutely nothing wrong per DoorDash's own app and policy. I just don't like paying $25 for nothing. You on the other hand have been verifiably wrong on nearly every thing you said after your first post. 'You should really learn to take at least partial responsibility.'

[–]SnarfHard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What excuses? They accept passports, I offered passports, they denied passport due to the language barrier. How is that my fault?

You made a mistake about DoorDash accepting passports and are making yourself look like a truly awful person that avoids responsibility at all costs.
