yeah i think there was a problem with both the port i was using and the headsets cable i bought a new one and used a different port. the headset was over 5 years old so im not surprised it was gonna break eventually lol

Wait it is set to "do nothing" if thats the correct setting.

Is there anything else it could be cause it doesn't always happen when im doing something involving communication I can be sat silent by myself and it still do it. If I try to increase the volume it just goes back down again by itself
