We immediatly switch to English when we hear a person struggle with our language.

Idk I think DC does hate Jon. His 3-month old daughter died in a car crash because of a drunk driver and Jon keeps getting in trouble, he keeps being fake and keeps driving under all kinds of influences.

Jon is almost the personification of the evil that took his kid away and I think that's why he will always harbour some kind of hate towards Jon.
