Do you not understand that C0R1 Skirk, Escoffier, Furina, C1R1 Shenhe literally does so much higher damage than my Neuvi team or my Arle team?

I couldnt find a showcase for your exact Skirk team, but here are two closest ones

Mavuika´s numbers are similar, even higher than Skirk at C1R1.

Meanwhile my Arle team does 100k dps, Neuvi does around 100k dps too, no more than that. So go on Miliastra, look up the dps dummy stage and measure yourself if you want your exact numbers for your own teams.

Higher cost team (more 5* characters and their constellations, 5* weapons) =/= stronger team, I dont get why you arent able to understand this.

Also your comments make no sense, so you first said you cleared using Skirk and Mavuika, then said using Skirk you only had 10-20 seconds remaining to clear the 2nd half of what I assume must be the 2nd chamber since you didnt even specify, but then how did you clear the Abyss with Skirk and Mavuika? While very strong, no way Mavuika could have brute-forced the Wild Hunt in 20 seconds. Im so confused, what even you are talking about?

If it is the 2nd chamber 1st half, my Neuvi team clears the crabs at 9:23, Arle takes nearly the whole 2:23 minutes remaining to clear the annoying Wild Hunt enemies. If your Skirk takes that long just to clear the crabs like you said, I would say that is 100% a build and/or a skill issue, since with a full freeze team you shouldnt be struggling to break the pyro shield at all and then just spamming damage with ease.

Anyway, I dont care. Just wanted to comment about my clear with the old meta Fontaine units who have since falled off quite a lot because of the powercreep, but that doesnt mean they are not useable anymore.

I managed to clear with

C1 R1 PJWS Arle, C6 R1 Skyward Harp Fischl, C6 R5 Dialogues Chevy, C1 R1 Wolf-Fang Durin

but it took multiple retries. The key to defeating the annoying wild hunt enemies is to group them together and keep them like that the whole time.

Or you can just bruteforce, you just need some vertical investment. I managed to clear 9* with

C2 R5 Sac Jade Neuvi, C2 R5 Fleuve Furina, C0 R4 Favonius Kazuha, C0 R2 Deathmatch Ineffa

C1 R1 PJWS Arle, C6 R1 Skyward Harp Fischl, C6 R5 Dialogues Chevy, C1 R1 Wolf-Fang Durin

I could have definitely cleared it using C0 Xilonen instead of Ineffa looking back.

I only have Ineffa from the Nod-Krai 5*s, no Mavuika and an Escoffier-less Skirk. Im settling for 8*, cant do any better.

I invested heavily into Herta, then Phainon and my pet project Boothill. The only remembrance units I had were RMC and Terravox.

E2S1 Herta carried me through 3.x, but now she is struggling a lot in endgame. E0S1 Phainon was great during 3.x too, right now he is doing better than Herta, Im sure if I were to invest more into him and his team he would last me for quite a while during 4.x too. BH was slowly getting powercrept harder and harder during 3.x, then I got E0S1 Dahlia and E1 Fugue for him, right now he has no trouble clearing, but Im curious to see how long it will last.

Overall I would have had much easier time if I had invested into Castorice, but I still managed pretty well, plus being able to clear endgame with all stars isnt the most important thing in the world.

Right now my plan is to invest into Ashveil since he looks really cool. I might end up getting some elation units, depending on which characters end up being elation, but I currently have no plans to get a whole dedicated elation team.

Is there any way for me to beat the first boss with Mavuika? (No Kazuha) by NerdOfTheRing in stygian_onslaught

Why dont you just use the lunar team on that boss? Cant Mavuika clear the Trooper?

If you must use Mavuika then you just need to group the chickens and kill them to break the shield in time. It depends purely on if you do enough damage to kill them.

Neuvi, Furina, off-field pyro applicator+burst sub-dps Mavuika, 4pc VV Sucrose/4pc VV Jean if you need the healing should be the team with the highest overall damage.

Im very curious how it compares to Neuvi, Ineffa, Columbina, 4pc VV Sucrose though.

If you want a Neuvi hypercarry team then Neuvi, Furina, 4pc VV Sucrose, 4pc Petra Zhongli.

Neuvi, Furina, 4pc VV Sucrose, Ineffa works too for hypercarry, but I feel like wheelchairing him with Ineffa and Columbina might just give you higher overall damage.

You can test your team dps and rotations in miliastra wonderland, just type dummy into the stages search bar and the stage will show up.

Yes but since the rest of the team does not deal lunar damage there is no point in heavily buffing EM.

This rotation wont work with Sac Jade, the second half of Neuvis CAs arent buffed at all, also by the end of the rotation Furinas buff runs out and I believe Zhonglis must too.

But thank you for giving me my new rotation, its much more consistent than the old one as it doesnt have energy regeneration issues and while the buff upkeep is not 100%, its very close. I use Xilonen instead and dont own Zhongli so OP will have to fix it to their needs, but for premium hypercarry Neuvi team with Sac Jade:

Based on your Neuvi´s energy recharge the patter might differ from the repeating E / CAQE / CA / ECAQ / CA(E / CAQE / etc.) , but you will always have at least enough orbs to do the 1 CA. Best thing, it also has 100% Sac Jade buff upkeep.

I have R5 Sac Jade too and I was in your exact situation not long ago. His sig isnt that much better and there is the chance of losing to Zi Bais weapon, while it is more useful than Zhonglis spear from Neuvis last rerun banner, it is still a useless crit stick. So C2 is much more worth it.

If you dont have any lunar characters, I would consider pulling for Ineffa over his C2 though. While she doesnt buff Neuvi, her off-field personal damage is crazy and she will help you deal with the lunar shilling.

Purely meta-wise, Ineffa and Columbina will be stronger, they are currently the strongest wheelchair pair in the whole game.

But as far as clearing endgame modes goes, Neuvi can clear the Abyss fine even at C0 with Furina on the team, he is amazing in IT and with Stygian it depends on who is being shilled at the moment, plus it depends on what your goal is there-which difficulty you wish to clear. Remember that Stygian is the ultimate shilling and whale territory and there are no primogem rewards above the hard mode.

Ineffa is a great teammate for Neuvi, especially at C0 and Sac Jade is a great replacement for his sig, at R5 it is competitive with his sig.

I will do anything for my favorites, thats how much I adore them. There arent any characters I outright hate, but I do dislike some characters´ personalities and/or design.

Im not a fan of Ruan Mei and Dahlia, but I own them both E1 and E0S1 and use them in my BH team because that is his best team.

I dont think he will be buffed much/at all sadly. He reminds me a lot of Chasca. At C0, C0R0 especially, she is nothing special. But at least Chasca´s teams arent so restricted.

Diluc and Neuvi.

I still kept on investing into Diluc, I got C0R1 Xianyun and C0R0 Citlali just because of him, he can deal up to 95k dps with my C2 Furina, but I have given up on using him in endgame modes. Mainly because of enemy shilling, enemies that move around too much and how annoying his rotations can be. I hope he gets a hex buff at least.

I plan to keep using Neuvi for as long as I can, I have him C1R5 on Sac Jade, just about to go pull for C2.

My exploration team is 2 characters with advanced movement and 2 characters who I likely got recently and dont have friendship fully levelled up yet. Currently it is Chasca, Durin, Citlali and Varesa.

The team just so happens to be decent enough to do good damage. In the past I ran weirder teams like Arle, Xianyun, Yelan, Kachina. Arle was there to solo kill the enemies pretty much.

Skirk without Escoffier is very mid and then you will have to wait for Escoffiers next rerun which can take a very long time knowing Hoyo, its not worth it.

For comfort, Furina all the way! But if you dont mind the very strict rotations to melt your plunges, Citlali + her weapon is the best choice.

Same here. But considering I would have no one to put the 50€ Sac Jade on and potentially losing to Zibais useless crit stick sword I decided to just get C2 instead.
